You cannot go to Nottingham and not visit Ye Olde Trip

Trip = old English word for resting place, go for a drink or two. So full of character and charm, and the beer is good too! Very photogenic so bring a camera. It is within walking distance of Nottingham Castle and so you can easily spend a 1/2 day in this area and revel in real history!

Awesome pub! Good food, good drinks and a gift shop. I love gift shops!

The Trip is full of little rooms here and there, one of which is supposedly haunted.  Mysterious breaking glasses and ghostly hands on your shoulder?  Yes please!  Tours of the cellars are also available…  It is pretty damn old!  This pub is a must if you visit Nottingham.
